Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway, an American actress, singer, and producer, rose to fame for her appearance as Mia Thermopolis in the Disney film The Princess Diaries (2001) and in its 2004 sequel. With her acting style compared to Judy Garland and Audrey Hepburn's, she has received various awards, including Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Voice-Over Performance for The Simpsons (2010), Golden Globe Award and Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for Les Misérables (2012). 

She was inspired to pursue acting career by her mother, a former actress. During the time studying at high school, she made her performances in numerous school plays before attending the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She got her first role in the short-lived Fox television series Get Real in 1999. 

She got married to actor Adam Shulman on September 29, 2012.
