Ansel Elgort

Ansel Elgort, commonly known by the stage name Ansølo, is an American actor, music producer, and DJ. In the role of an actor, he is famous for playing Tommy Ross in Carrie (2013), Caleb Prior in The Divergent Series (2014) and Augustus Waters in The Fault in Our Stars (2014).

Ansel was born in New York City to photographer Arthur Elgort and opera director Grethe Barrett Holby. He began his professional acting career on stage with Matt Charman's play Regrets, which was performed off-Broadway.

Ansel is the younger brother of film editor, Warren and photographer, Sophie. In 2012, he started to date his high school girlfriend Violetta Komyshan. The pair broke up in August 2014 but reconciled just 5 months later.
