Avicii, born Tim Bergling, is a Swedish DJ, remixer, record producer. He takes in various genres, ranging from EDM, country bluegrass, progressive house and electro house. He earns his popularity with hit singles like I Could Be the One with Nicky Romero, Wake Me Up, You Make Me, X You, Hey Brother and Addicted to You. For his own efforts, he was ranked number three on DJ Magazine 's annual Top 100 DJs in 2012 and 2013. In addition, he has received twice nominations for a Grammy Award, once for his work on "Sunshine" with David Guetta in 2012 and once for his song "Levels" in 2013.
BEFORE FAMEHe has been influenced from Daft Punk, former trio Swedish House Mafia (Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, Axwell) and Eric Prydz. In May 2007, he signed a contract with the Dejfitts Plays label before releasing hit song Seek Bromance in 2010. In October at the same year, he joined the European A&R team with EMI Music Publishing.
