Bill Peet

Children's book illustrator and animator known for his contributions to "Cinderella," "Dumbo," "Fantasia," "The Three Caballeros," "Song of the South," "So Dear to My Heart," and other Disney films.He illustrated over 35 children's books.He contributed to the animation for 1951's "Alice in Wonderland," which featured the voice of Sterling Holloway.

He failed all of his academic classes at Arsenal Technical High School. He joined the final stages on Walt Disney's artistic triumph of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" from 1937.

His family was residing in Grandview, Indiana, when he was born. He was married to Margaret Brunst from 1937 until his death. He and Margaret had two sons named Stephen and Bill Jr.
