Choi Seung-hyun, better known by his stage name T.O.P, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter and actor. He is a member of the world famous South Korean boy band Big Bang of YG Entertainment and has also participated in various dramas and films, such as I Am Sam (2007), Commitment (2013), Tazza: The Hidden Card (2014). T.O.P is well known for his low-bass timbre rapping and has been successful with the band and in his solo career with hit singles i.e Turn It Up (2011), Doom Dada (2013), etc. He won Visual Culture Award (2015) by Prudential Eye Awards and many other awards.
BEFORE FAMEPrior to his involvement with YG Entertainment, Seung-hyun was an underground rapper under the name of Tempo, and a childhood friend of G-Dragon, the leader of Big Bang. T.O.P attended Dankook University in Theater & Films from 2008 to February 2012.
