Chuba Akpom

Deployed as a centre forward, Akpom plays for Championship side Hull City on loan from Arsenal. Joining Arsenal aged 6, he was sent to Brentford, Peterborough United, Leyton Orient, and Milton Keynes Dons respectively on loan. The striker returned to Arsenal and began the 2014-15 season by scoring a hat-trick for the club in an Under-21 Premier League Division 2 game against West Bromwich Albion at the end of August. On 4 February 2015, Akpom rejected the invitations from lots of club from the Premier League and also across Europe to sign a new four-and-a-half contract with Arsenal. He has also represented England at almost youth international levels.

Entering Arsenal academy at the age of six, Akpom debuted for the Arsenal U18 aged 15. In December 2012, he received his first call into the Arsenal senior squad for a 2-1 Champions League defeat to Olympiakos.

He was born in Canning Town, Newham, England.
