Dearly Dave Sompie is best known for being the runner up of the 2006 Indonesian Idol season 3 and for being the vocalist of Dirboy Band. He is remembered as the youngest finalist of the Indonesian Idol Show. Besides singing, he also works as an actor who starred in the 2008 film The Shaman and several soap operas such as Mak Comblang, Idola and Cinta dan Anugerah
BEFORE FAMEAt the age of 17, he joined the Indonesian entertainment industry after auditioning for the Indonesian Idol competition. He had a chance to co-operate with Ghea in the compilation album Lil Widianto. After that, he released his new single Nobody Wants to Be Forgettable which received much attention of audiences.
