Modernist architect famous for his 10-story "Wooden Skyscraper" in Zagreb. Founder of the Earth Group and a member of CIAM. He also built villas on the Korčula island and Zagreb.His District Labour Insurance Building was one of the first examples of modern architecture in Yugoslavia.He was influenced by the work of Le Corbusier.
BEFORE FAMEHe studied under German architect Hans Poelzig; years later, Ibler became an architectural pedagogue himself, holding teaching positions at the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts and at the University of Geneva.
