Edie Falco

Edie Falco is an American movie actress, garnering massive popularity since the big break in the role of Mafia wife Carmela Soprano in the acclaimed HBO series The Sopranos (1999). Two Golden Globe Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards and five Screen Actors Guild Awards are the most outstanding nominations throughout her acting career. More notably, Falcon is the only actress to win Emmy Awards in both the Drama and Comedy categories.

She was born to a family with artistic tradition, her father, Frankie Falco, is a jazz drummer and her mother, Judith Loney, is also an actress. Her road to fame started with minor roles in memorable film works like The Unbelievable Truth (1999) and Trust (1991). 

In 2002, Edie Falcon was in romantic relationship with the actor Stanley Tucci for a short time. She then adopted a son and a daughter named Anderson and Macy in the same year.
