Edson Stroll

Remembered for his role as Virgil Edwards on the 1960s situation comedy McHale's Navy, he also appeared in two popular Three Stooges films: The Three Stooges in Orbit and Snow White and the Three Stooges.During the early 2000s, he worked as a voiceover artist.In the 1961 comedy Snow White and the Three Stooges, he and Carol Heiss played the roles of Prince Charming and Snow White.

Before beginning his screen acting career, he served in the United States Navy and went on to become a bodybuilder and New York theater actor. His early television credits include small roles in episodes of The Twilight Zone and Sea Hunt.

A native of Chicago, Illinois, he died in Marina del Rey, California, at the age of eighty-two.
