Erra Fazira, dubbed Primadona Malay Films of the New Millennium, is a Malaysian actress, singer, fashion model, TV Host and film producer. After becoming the queen of Miss Malaysia 1992 and then reaching the third position in Miss South East Asia 1992/1993, she has since gained success in acting career, including a 18th Malaysia Film Festival award for her role as Nora in film Hingga Hujung Nyawa (2004) and three nominations for Malaysia Film Festival awards for her appearance in Soalnya Siapa? (2002), Persona Non Grata (2006), and Anak (2008).
BEFORE FAMEShe found a passion for acting since she was a child. During her childhood, she participated in various school's clubs and societies like Scouting, St John Ambulance of Malaysia, English Language Society and Culture Club.
PERSONAL LIFEShe got married to singer Yusry Abdul Halim, a member of Malaysian pop group (KRU) on 15 June 2003 but ended their marriage in divorce in 2006. A year later, she wed Engku Emran Engku Zainal Abidin and they has a daughter named Engku Aleesya (born 30 March 2009).
