Glenn Fredly

Indonesian singer, songwriter Glenn Fredly Deviano Latuihamallo, better known as Glenn Fredly is famous for creating some talented young singer such as Yara and Gilbert Pohan and for producing the 2011 movie Tanda Tanya. He idolized Michael Jackson and admitted to be much influenced by his music as well as styles. 

At the age of 20, he started his singing career as the winner of a singing contest. After that, he joined a boy band named Funk Section. However, in 1998, he decided to leave this rock band to pursue his favorite music genre R&B. In the same year, he released his first album titled Glenn. In 2000, he continued releasing the second album Return

He often mentioned Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and Quincy Delight Jones as his idols who had certain influences on him.
