Yoo Hae-jin is a South Korean actor. He started his career by doing bit roles in films, and then supporting roles. He has gradually become an influential and known as a scene stealer. Some of his popular films are King and the Clown (2005), Small Town Rivals (2007), Moss (2010), The Pirates (2014). He also appeared in several TV series. He has gained many awards and much reputation in the Best Supporting Actor category.
BEFORE FAMEHaving a rather humble and conservative background, as a teenager, he was not able to pursue his acting career despite his passion and talents. Due to his appearance, he was not admitted to Theater and Film course in college and had to major in Fashion Design instead. After a special selection for college graduates, Yoo was finally accepted to the theater department of Seoul Institute of the Arts.
PERSONAL LIFEHe was in a relationship with actress Kim Hye-soo. Though the couple originally denied many times about their romantic relationship, it was finally confirmed. They broke up in 2011.
