Jay R

Gaudencio Aquino Sillona III, better known for his stage name as Jay R, is a Filipino singer, songwriter, actor, record producer and model. He rose to fame after releasing the debut album Gameface (2003), which earned him numerous awards and the title R&B Prince. In 2004, he made big screen debut with a role in feature film Happy Together.

Jay R is the youngest of four children born to Gaudencio Sillona, Jr., a pianist, and Amparo Aquino Sillona, a singer. While being second year student at DeVry University, he specialized in computer engineering but decided to quit to realize his dream of becoming a singer.

Up to now, he has released 5 albums as well as starred in many films like Hari ng Sablay (2005), Exodus: Tales from the Enchanted Kingdom (2005), Desperadas 1&2.
