Jennette McCurdy is an American actress, screenwriter, producer, singer, and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Sam Puckett on the Nickelodeon sitcom iCarly and its spin-off series Sam & Cat. She has also starred in a number of television series, including Victorious, Zoey 101, True Jackson VP, Malcolm in the Middle, and Lincoln Heights. Besides, as a singer, her 2011 single Generation Love peaked at 44 on the U.S. Country chart.
BEFORE FAMEMcCurdy’s interest in acting was inspired by watching Harrison Ford in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope after her mother recovered from breast cancer. In 2000, at the age of 8, she landed her first role as Cassidy Gifford in MADtv.
