Jordin Sparks is an American singer, songwriter and actress. She was well-known as the youngest winner, the first non-southerner as well as the first mixed race person in the American Idol history when winning the season six (2002) at the age of 17. Stepping from this famous show, her solo career has gain numerous achivements with various nominations and awards, including American Music Award for Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist (2008), People's Choice Award for Favorite Combined Forces (2009) and Soul Train Award for Best Gospel/Inspirational Performance (2012).
BEFORE FAMEHis musical career was inspired by Mariah Carey, Beyoncé Knowles, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and Hanson. After one year attending Sandra Day O'Connor High School in Glendale, Arizona, in 2006, she was home-schooled in order to focus on singing.
