Jordon Ibe

Deployed as an attacking midfielder or a winger, Ibe currently plays professionally for Liverpool in the Premier League. Developing at Wycombe Wanderers, for whom he made his debut in the Football League aged 15, Ibe joined Liverpool in 2012. After spending time on loan at Birmingham City and Derby County, he signed a new long term contract with Liverpool on 21 May 2015. The midfielder has also represented England from under-18 to under-21 level.

Ibe moved to the Wycombe Wanderers youth team in 2007 aged 12 after being released by Charlton Athletic youth one. Coming up through the youth system at Wycombe, he made his first debut on 9 August 2011 in the League Cup win against Conchester United.

He was born in Bermondsey, London, England. Ibe was described as a player with a "bright footballing brain" by Brendan Rodgers while Steve McClaren saw him as an exciting player "like the old jinky wingers who used to get in the game".
