Jurgita Jurkute

Known best as the winner of the 2007 Miss Lithuania pageant title, Jurkute also did modeling work in Germany, Italy, Greece, Japan, and Spain. Also an actress, she starred in a Lithuanian TV3 series titled Moterys Meluoja Geriau (English translation: Women Lie Better).She entered the Miss World 2007 pageant, but was ultimately defeated by Chinese contestant Zhang Zilin.Jurkute's fellow Miss Lithuania winner, Ingrida Mikelionyte, married Lithuanian-born professional basketball player Arvy Sabonis.

She studied social work at Vilnius University.
