Justin Randall Timberlake is an American singer, songwriter, and actor. He rose to prominence as one of the two lead vocalists and youngest member of NSYNC – one of the best-selling boy bands of all time between 1995 and 2002. Since the group's hiatus, he has been active as a solo artist and held starring roles in such films as The Social Network, Bad Teacher, In Time, and Friends.

Timberlake was born to Lynn (Bomar) Harless and Randall Timberlake, a Baptist church choir director. He has two half-brothers, Jonathan (born 1993) and Steven Robert (born August 14, 1998). Janet Jackson was the one inspiring him to become a performer. At the age of 11, he first appeared on the television shows Star Search and The All-New Mickey Mouse Club as a child singer.

Timberlake began dating popular singer Britney Spears in early 1999 and split up in March 2002. He then underwent an intimate relationship with actress Cameron Diaz before getting married to actress Jessica Biel in 2011. The couple has one son named Silas Randall Timberlake born in April 2015.
