Lacey Nicole Sturm is an American singer songwriter, who is widely- recognized as co-founder and lead vocalist of band Flyleaf. Additionally, she was praised for her beautiful voice in hits "Run to You" and "Born Again", which gained her a pair of Grammy nominations at the 52nd Grammy Awards.
However, in 2012, Sturm announced to leave Flyleaf right before the introduction of the album New Horizons, which enrolled in the nomination list for the 2012 Rock Album of the Year Dove Award.
In 2013, Sturm signed a contract with Baker Publishing Group for a new book to be published in 2014.
In 2000, Sturm and drummer James Culpepper played guitar together for the first time . They cooperated with guitarists Sameer Bhattacharya and Jared Hartmann. Two years later, Pat Seals, Flyleaf's current bassist, joined, forming a group named Passerby. Due to legal reasons, they changed the name into Flyleaf in June 2004.

On September 6, 2008 she married Joshua Sturm, the guitarist for the band Kairos. The couple have two sons together.
