Lisa Nicole Lopes (May 27, 1971 – April 25, 2002), better known by her stage name Left Eye, was an American singer, dancer, songwriter who gained public notice as a member of the girl group TLC. She has written raps to many of TLC's hit singles, including "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg", "What About Your Friends", "Hat 2 da Back", "No Scrubs", "Waterfalls", "I'm Good at Being Bad", "Girl Talk", earning her four Grammy Awards.
On April 25, 2002, Lopes was killed in a car accident in La Ceiba, Honduras.
