Liza Soberano is a Filipino-Americanactress and model, known for playing the protagonist Maria Agnes Calay in the hit romantic comedy Television series Forevermore. She was launched as one of the 12 new discoveries of ABS-CBN's Star Magic Circle 2013.

She was born to Filipino father, John Castillo Soberano, and American mother, Jacqulyn Elizabeth Hanley. At age 13, a talent scout spotted her and she was introduced to talent manager Ogie Diaz.
