Recognized as a Thailand National Artist for performing arts in 1995, Lor Tok is best known as a Thai comedian and actor with his good sense of humor. He appeared in over 1,000 films including Panan, Yod Phi, Hong Fah, Phra Apaimanee, more notably Ngern, Ngern, Ngern, for which he was awarded Best Actor title at theThailand National Film Association Awards.
BEFORE FAMELor Tok was born as the third of five children of an orchardist. He enrolled in Wat Nuan Noradit School until grade 9 and then worked on the family orchard. His first steps in acting career started when he participated in a comedy troupe. He appeared in the comic play, Klai Glua Kin Dang. His film debut was made in 1933 in Wan Chakayan.
