An American hip hop recording artist Robert Williams, better known as Meek Mill, came to the attention of a wider audience in 2012 with the release of studio album, Dreams & Nightmares, peaked at No. 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Meek Mill also signed to record executive and fellow American rapper T.I who owns Atlanta-based record label. He also launched his own imprint called Dream Chasers Records since 2012.

Meek Mill was born as a son of Kathy Williams in South Philadelphia. He was soon affected by the independent hip-hop artists Chic Raw and Vodka. Meek Mill made his first appearance in music when he together with his 3 friends created the rap group called The Bloodhoundz at the age of 18.
