BEFORE FAMEMichelle Obama was born Michelle LaVaughn Robinson. From young age, Michelle soon showed her interest in politics as being a member of the National Honor Society, student council treasurer, involved in the Third World Center supporting minority, advocated the hiring of professors who were members of minorities,etc. After graduating from Havard, she worked at the law firm Sidley Austin, then the staff of Chicago mayor Richard M. Daley, the University of Chicago Medical Center.
PERSONAL LIFEMichelle met the president Obama while working in Sidley Austin. They married in 1992 and have two daughters: Malia and Natasha.
