Minoru Mori

Minoru Mori was known as one of the most powerful and influential building tycoons in Japan. He was president and CEO of Mori Building and held 12.74% of Sunwood Corporation. It could be found his family name on a number of real estate developments in Japan. According to the Forbes, he was listed as one of the world's richest men. In 2008, Fortune magazine named him as Asia Businessman of the Year 2007. A year later, Queen Elizabeth II also honored him as an honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire (KBE). 

He attended Tokyo University before joining his father's real estate business, Mori Building Company. 

His father was Taikichiro Mori, the founder of Mori Building Company and he had a brother Akira Mori. He got married and had two children.
