Nguyen Du

The world culturist celebrity, Nguyen Du, is one of the greatest Vietnamese poets, who contributed and deeply influenced Vietnamese ancient literature. His masterpiece of all time, Truyen Kieu has been translated and pulished in many countries, and still remains a position in all ages, all classes Vietnamese. Nguyen Du had left a huge literature storage which included Vietnamese and Chinese poems. Besides, he also was an advisor for Nguyen Dynastry.

Nguyen Du was the son of prime minister  Nguyen Nghiem, therefore he had wide knowledge about life and literature. Nguyen Du inherited a sensitive soul from his mother, who had ability in singing and composing poem. Passing  the provincial exam, he was a military advisor in the Royal (Trịnh) army. It was the time Nguyen Du stared composing
