British actress Pamela Franklin was active in acting from 1961 to 1981. She rose to fame for her appearance in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969), which earned her the National Board of Review award for Best Supporting Actress. During her career, she also caught attentions by notable works such as The Innocents (1961), The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie (1969) and The Legend of Hell House (1973).
BEFORE FAMEWhen she was eight, she attended the Elmhurst School of Ballet in the UK (now the Elmhurst School for Dance) with the aim to become a dancer. However, three years later, she first debuted in film The Innocents and in television The Horse Without a Head (1963).
PERSONAL LIFEOn 29 November 1970, she was married to actor Harvey Jason with two children named Louis Jason and Joshua Jason.
