Sterling Holloway

Actor who provided the voice for a number of memorable Disney characters including Winnie the Pooh, Mr. Stork in Dumbo and the Cheshire Cat in Alice in Wonderland.He voiced the python Kaa in the 1967 Disney film The Jungle Book.He and Edward Brophy both lent their voices for the 1941 Disney animated feature Dumbo.

During his time at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, he befriend fellow actor Spencer Tracy. When he was a teenager, he toured with The Shepherd of the Hills throughout the Western United States.

His father became the mayor of his hometown, Cedartown, in 1912. He had a son named Richard and never married.
