Susan Downey

Acclaimed film producer who came to prominence while working with Joel Silver at Silver Pictures.She was in charge of developing the Mortal Kombat film and television franchise while at Threshold Entertainment.Her first full producer credit was for 2003's Gothika starring Downey Jr. and Halle Berry.

She graduated as the valedictorian from Schaumburg High School in Illinois and later graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts.

She married Robert Downey Jr. in 2005, with whom she had a son named Exton Elias Downey in 2012. She and her husband founded their own production company Team Downey in June 2010. In 2014, she gave birth to a daughter named Avri Roel Downey.
