Tatsuya Fujiwara is a Japanese actor who has been active since 1997. He rose to international fame for his starring portrayals as Shuya Nanahara in the Battle Royale (2000), Light Yagami in the Death Note (2006), Kaiji Ito in the Kaiji (2009), and Rikuhiko Yuki in The Incite Mill (2010). He has earned his acting career Japan Academy Award for Newcomer of the Year and a nomination for Japan Academy Prize for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role.
